Good year, great night for trivia!

It's August 29.

It's the anniversary of the first Soviet atomic bomb test (1949) and of the day the Communist Party was banned in the Soviet Union (1991).

It also marks 118 years since a small local company was started.
It's pretty obscure, you probably never heard of it.

(So, TIL that Goodyear ran a cheesecake ad campaign for their "Stick-on-Soles" with the slightly creepy slogan "What Pretty Feet!)

Tonight's PRESHOW Q (here AND the FB page)

When Goodyear started in 1898 they manufactured tires for bikes and carriages, horseshoe pads, and what item that is standard equipment in finished basements all through the country?

Answer IN PERSON by 8:00 for a shot at prizes!

Excelsior et Irrumabo Carcinodes!
