Happy Recent Berfday To ME!

You may not have realized this, but "Happy Birthday" is still technically under copyright.

OR IS IT?

Thanks to some diligence and plain old research (have I explained how archivists and librarians are my heroes?) there may be some evidence that Mildred and Patty Hill never really had a valid copyright claim to the song at all.
